How can Lyndon Baptist Church help me?
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Matthew 25:35-36
At Lyndon Baptist Church, we firmly believe that Christ’s call to love our neighbors includes a deliberate effort to meet their needs. That’s why, in addition to worship services that address spiritual needs, we are also host to the following organizations and services:
Dignity Memorial LIFT (Living Information for Today®): LIFT groups provide help and hope for men and women who have lost a spouse. Through the support of others who have had similar experiences, LIFT groups can help allievate the feelings of seclusion and loneliness that often come with being widowed.
Al-Anon Family Group Meetings: Like LIFT groups, Al-Anon Family Group Meetings provide support through sharing experiences. The friends and family members of problem drinkers gather at Al-Anon Family Group Meetings to learn how the Al-Anon program can help them find peace.
Mosaic Counseling Center: Dr. Laurice Rogers provides individual, marriage, and family counseling from a Christ-centered perspective. Mosaic Counseling center is a fee based counseling service, with consideration given to an individual’s ability to pay.
Prayer: The congregation of Lyndon Baptist Church is expected to pray for the needs of our community. Through our prayer ministry we compile a list of those needs and intentionally take time to lift them up to the Lord. If you have a prayer need, please
"Contact Us" so that we may pray for you.
